An Advisory Committee on the Vermont Rules for Electronic Filing of fourteen voting members is established consisting of four Superior Judges, four members designated by the State Court Administrator, including at least one superior court clerk or court operations manager, a designee from the Vermont Bar Association (VBA), a designee from the Department of State's Attorneys and Sheriffs, a designee of the Defender General, and three other members to be appointed by the Supreme Court. Initial appointments will be for staggered terms-six members for three years, four members for two years and four members for one year. Thereafter appointment will be for a three-year term. All members, except the VBA representative and the designees, may serve a maximum of three consecutive terms or parts thereof. Whenever a member resigns or the office is otherwise vacant, the Supreme Court will appoint a successor to fill the unexpired term. The Supreme Court will designate the chair.
