Rule 1302.5 - Compensation of Arbitrators(a) For the first hearing, the arbitrators shall receive compensation as set by administrative order of this court.(b) Where more than one hearing becomes necessary, additional compensation may be allowed at the discretion of the court upon petition and cause shown by the chairperson on behalf of all of the members of the board. Such a petition shall be presented to the administrative judge of the civil division of the court.(c) No compensation shall be allowed when settlement occurs prior to the hearing, when counsel and the arbitrators report for a hearing and a settlement is announced or when no testimony is received at the hearing. In such cases, however, that panel of arbitrators shall be assigned another case at the first opportunity.Amended effective 1/1/2020; amended effective 7/1/2023.
