Rule 2206 - Settlement, Compromise, Discontinuance and Judgment

Petitions of any party in interest pursuant to Pa.R.C.P. 2206, where a civil action has been instituted and where no minor and no incapacitated person has an interest, shall be presented to the Calendar Control Judge. Where a minor or incapacitated person has an interest, petitions shall be first delivered for signature to the Administrative Judge of the Orphans' Court Division and thereafter to the Calendar Control Judge for signature. See Local 2039 where a minor has an interest and Local 2064 where an incapacitated person has an interest.
