Unless otherwise permitted by UTCR 3.180(6) or the judge presiding over the trial or other proceeding, personal communication devices (any electronic or other equipment capable of communicating with others including, but not limited to cell phones and pagers), are not permitted in the courtrooms or jury rooms.
