EXPLANATORY NOTE Rule 42 was repealed, effective 3/1/1994, at the request of the Joint Procedure Committee.The Committee proposed new contempt legislation that was passed during the 1993 North Dakota Legislative Assembly. Even though enactment of the 1993 contempt legislation did not repeal Rule 42, the provisions of the Rule are now adequately covered by Chapter 27-10, N.D.C.C.
