(a)Non-Jury Cases. The court shall return its verdict within a reasonable time after trial. (b)Jury Cases. The verdict shall be unanimous and shall be returned by the jury in open court. (c) Poll of Jury. When a verdict is returned and before it is recorded the jury may be polled at the request of any party or upon the court's own motion. If upon the poll there is not unanimous concurrence, the jury may be directed to retire for further deliberations or may be discharged. (d) Bail. After a verdict, either party may request a change in bail as provided by law. (e)Motion to Set Aside Verdict. A motion to set aside a jury verdict or a non-jury verdict announced on the record in open court shall be filed within ten days after its rendition, and a motion to set aside any other verdict or decree shall be filed within ten days from the date on the clerk's written notice with respect to same, which shall be mailed by the clerk on the date of the notice. In each case, the motion shall fully state all reasons and arguments relied upon. Adopted effective 1/1/2016 in Strafford and Cheshire counties and 7/1/2016 in Belknap County.
