A petition for an abduction prevention order, including a request for an ex parte warrant for physical custody of the child, is governed by the Maryland Child Abduction Prevention Act, Code, Family Law Article, Title 9.7. If, after notice and opportunity for a hearing on a petition pursuant to this Rule or on the court's own motion, the court finds a credible risk of abduction of the child, the court shall enter an abduction prevention order in compliance with Code, Family Law Article, § 9.7-108.
