Rule 50 - Calendars; plans for prompt disposition(a) Calendars. - The court may provide for placing criminal proceedings upon appropriate calendars. Preference shall be given to criminal proceedings as far as practicable.(b) Plans for achieving prompt disposition of criminal cases. - To minimize undue delay and to further the prompt disposition of criminal cases, the court shall conduct a continuing study of the administration of criminal justice and shall prepare plans for the prompt disposition of criminal cases.De.
