(a) When some parts of certain material are discoverable under the provisions of these rules, and other parts are not discoverable, the discoverable material shall be made available pursuant to the rules after excision of the remainder.(b) Material excised pursuant to judicial order shall be sealed and preserved in the records of the court to be made available to the appellate court in the event of an appeal.
