Rule 2 - Calendar Call and Law and Motion Day
(a) The second Monday in each month shall be designated as Calendar Call and Law and Motion Day, except when said day falls on a holiday, in which case the following day shall be considered as Calendar Call and Law and Motion Day, unless otherwise ordered.
(b) On Calendar Call, cases will be assigned for pretrial conference and short causes will be set for trial; also, on the same day, all law matters and promotions shall be heard unless for good cause shown or upon stipulation of counsel the matters may be passed to a later date.
(c) Prior to each Calendar Call, the Clerk of this Court shall prepare the Calendar and Law and Motion Docket, placing thereon, cases on the Active Calendar to be assigned for pretrial conference, short causes to be assigned for trial, motions in which the time prescribed by Rule IV(a) of the Uniform Rules of Practice of the Superior Court for filing reply memoranda has expired, pleas and miscellaneous law matters. This docket shall be used in connection with the work of the Court on the next succeeding Calendar Call and Law and Motion Day.
(d) Oral argument of motions shall be limited to 20 minutes for each side unless the Court grants special permission in advance for additional time.
