Section Trans 309.18 - Communications(1) Each ambulance shall have a permanently mounted radio in the cab of the ambulance capable of contacting the hospital emergency department of the hospital it serves. In the rear compartment of the ambulance there shall be two way communications in the form of a radio capable of communication with the hospitals it serves. These radios shall comply with ch. DHS 110.(2) Each ambulance service provider operating ambulances staffed either wholly or partially with EMTs practicing advance skills shall have remote 2-way communications for personnel when they are away from the ambulance.Wis.
