Section 69-12-1 - General1.1. Scope. -- This legislative rule establishes standards and procedures for the licensure and regulation of medication-assisted treatment - office-based medication-assisted treatment (OBMAT) programs.1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code §16-5Y-1, et seq.1.3. Filing Date. -- May 3, 2024.1.4. Effective Date. -- May 3, 2024.1.5. Sunset Provision. -- This rule shall terminate and have no further force or effect on August 1, 2029.1.6. Purpose. -- The purpose of this rule is to ensure that all West Virginia OBMAT programs conform to a common set of minimum standards and procedures to ensure the care, treatment, health, safety and welfare of patients therein.1.7. Enforcement. -- This rule is enforced by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources or his or her designee.
