The student conduct code is intended to support the mission and values of Western Washington University by promoting integrity, responsibility, and accountability. As a public institution of higher education, the university is committed to maintaining a learning environment that supports student development through fostering community values and promoting holistic well-ness for the Western community. As members of this community, students are expected to understand and comply with the student conduct code, as well as other university rules, regulations, procedures, and policies.
The board of trustees of Western Washington University, acting under the authority of RCW 28B.35.120(12) has established the following regulations for student conduct. The responsibility for enforcement of the student conduct code lies with the university president and is delegated to the vice president of enrollment and student services.
