Section 478-276-010 - Purpose

This chapter is enacted by the board of regents of the University of Washington in compliance with the Public Records Act. The university adopts these rules and regulations so as to provide fullest assistance to inquirers and full public access to the university's public records while protecting those records from damage or disorganization; preventing excessive interference with other essential university functions, including the university's core education and research missions; and not unreasonably disrupting university operations.
