Section 388-27-0060 - When must the department follow a voluntary adoption plan?The department must follow the voluntary plan for adoption if:
(1) The prospective adoptive parents chosen by the parent are properly qualified to adopt in compliance with chapter 26.33 RCW or WAC 388-25-0025; and(2) The court determines that this adoption is in the best interest of the child; and(3) The VAP is proposed to the department before a petition for termination of the parent-child relationship has been filed.Wash.
