Section 388-845-2130 - What are supported parenting services?
(1) Supported parenting services are professional services offered to DDA clients who are parents or expectant parents.
(2) Services may include teaching, parent coaching, and other supportive strategies in areas critical to parenting, including child development, nutrition and health, safety, child care, money management, time and household management, and housing.
(3) Supported parenting services are designed to build parental skills and understanding around a child's developmental domains of cognition, language, motor, social-emotional, and self-help.
(4) Supported parenting services are offered in the Core and IFS waivers.
