Section 388-148-1575 - What are other requirements for medications?(1) You must keep a written record of all prescription medications and the dates given for the children in care. This list must go with the child when a child leaves your home.(2) You must notify the child's DSHS worker of changes in prescribed medications.(3) You must give prescription and over the counter medications as specified on the medication label or as prescribed by persons legally authorized to prescribe medication. This includes herbal supplements and remedies, vitamins, or minerals.(4) You must give children non-prescription medication according to product instructions and seek medical advice regarding possible interactions with a child's other prescription and non-prescription medications.Wash.
