Section 388-145-1680 - What requirements must be followed for carbon monoxide detectors?(1) Carbon monoxide alarms must be provided with single station carbon monoxide alarms installed: (a) In or near each separate sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms; and(b) On each level of the dwelling.(2) Carbon monoxide alarms shall be listed as complying with UL 2034 and be installed and maintained in accordance with NFPA 720 and the manufacturer's instructions.Wash.
