Section 388-107-0880 - Dining, dayrooms, and resident activity areas(1) The facility must provide one or more rooms designated for resident dining and activities that is: (c) Adequately furnished;(d) Large enough to accommodate all residents; and(e) Large enough to accommodate all resident activities.(2) The facility must design space for dining rooms, day-rooms, and activity areas for resident convenience and comfort and to provide a homelike environment. The facility must: (a) Ensure these rooms or areas are exterior rooms with windows that have a maximum sill height of thirty-six inches;(b) Provide space for dining, day use, and activities with a minimum of one hundred fifty square feet or combined total of thirty square feet for each licensed bed, whichever is greater;(c) Design any multipurpose rooms to prevent program interference with each other; and(d) Provide adjoining or adjacent storage spaces for all activity and recreational equipment and supplies.Wash.
