Section 296-96-05240 - Minimum maintenance requirements All owners, or designated owner representatives, of material lifts described in this chapter are responsible for the maintenance of their lifts and parts. Minimum maintenance requirements are:
(1) All lifts described in this chapter and their parts shall be maintained in a safe condition. Maintenance, examinations, and safety tests are to be performed and documented to the applicable sections of WAC 296-96-23605 and ASME A17.1/CSA B44, parts 8.6 and 8.11.(2) All devices and safeguards that are required by this chapter shall be maintained in good working order.Wash.
