Section 296-54-54710 - Rigging - Inspection(1) An authorized, qualified person must thoroughly inspect all blocks, straps, guylines, butt rigging, and other rigging before they are used.(2) The inspections must include examining for: (a) Damaged, cracked, or worn parts;(b) Loose nuts and bolts;(c) Need for lubrication; and(d) The condition of straps and guylines.(3) All necessary repairs or replacements for safe operation must be made before the rigging is used.(4) All rigging elements must be large and strong enough to safely withstand the stress that can be imposed by the maximum pull of the power unit against the equipment or devices as rigged or used in that particular logging operation.Wash.
