Exceptions: | 1. Current transformers; 2. Dry-type transformers installed as a component part of other apparatus; 3. Transformers that are an integral part of a high frequency or electrostatic-coating apparatus; 4. Transformers used with Class 2 and Class 3 circuits, sign and outline lighting, electric discharge lighting, and power-limited fire-protective signaling circuits; and 5. Liquid-filled or dry-type transformers used for research, development, or testing, where effective safeguard arrangements are provided. |
