Section 296-135-080 - Employee's duty to provide information to the employer(1) An employee is required to provide only the information required under RCW 49.76.040(2) and WAC 296-135-070 to establish that the leave is protected under RCW 49.76.030.(2) An employer is prohibited from requiring any information that is beyond the scope of RCW 49.76.040(2) and WAC 296-135-070.(3) An employee is not required to produce or discuss with the employer, and the employer is prohibited from requiring, any information that would compromise the employee's or employee's family member's safety in any way.Wash.
