Section 246-812-232 - Denial or withdrawal of a dentur-ist program(1) When the board determines that a denturist program fails to meet the standards for training as contained in this chapter, the board shall: (a) Deny approval to a new program; or(b) Withdraw approval from an existing program.(2) The board may conduct a review or a site visit to investigate any allegation that a program has not met, or has failed to maintain, the standards set forth in this chapter including, but not limited to:(a) Requiring students to attend the classes listed on the transcript;(b) Requiring students to complete the hours listed on the transcript;(c) Not violating or attempting to violate, directly or indirectly, or assisting in or abetting the violation of any rule for the denturist program;(d) Creating or maintaining accurate records including, but not limited to, student attendance records and student transcripts;(e) Being found by a state or local agency, or a private certifying, permitting, or accreditation agency related to den-turism, that a denturist program has engaged in any of the conduct identified in this subsection;(f) Notifying the board of any changes in the overall curriculum, plan or major content changes prior to implementation; and(g) Notifying the board of changes in the authorized representative or instructor.(3) Board approval is automatically terminated if the program does not renew.Wash.
