Section 246-101-200 - Rapid screening testing

An individual or entity including, but not limited to, health care providers and health care facilities, that conduct an RST for any of the following conditions, meets the definition of a laboratory under this chapter, and shall comply with WAC 246101-201 through 246-101-230:

(1) Blood lead level testing;

(2) Hepatitis C (acute infection);

(3) Hepatitis C (chronic infection);

(4) HIV infection; or

(5) Novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
