The number of scholarships awarded shall be dependent upon the amount of money appropriated by the General Assembly , the amount of the funds available within the Nursing Scholarship and Loan Repayment Fund administered by the Board of Nursing pursuant to § 54.1-3011.2 of the Code of Virginia, and the number of qualified applicants. Each participant shall receive an award of $2,000 per year.
