Section R671-312A-6 - Commutation Decision(1) The Board shall determine by majority decision whether to grant or deny the commutation petition.(2) The decision of the Board granting or denying commutation following a hearing shall be delivered by mail or electronic mail to the parties and then published by the Board in the same manner as other Board decisions.(3) The decision of the Board will also be provided to the court that entered the sentence or conviction that is the subject of the commutation petition.Utah Admin.
