Section 21.448 - License Required(a) Except as provided by this subchapter, a person may not obtain a permit for a sign under this subchapter unless the person holds a currently valid license issued under § 21.145 of this chapter (relating to License Issuance; Amendment), or under § 21.450 of this subchapter (relating to License Issuance), applicable to the county in which the sign is to be erected or maintained.(b) A license is valid for one year beginning on the date of its issuance or most recent renewal.43 Tex.
