Section 28.44 - Fingerprint and Signature(a) TDCJ shall collect and forward thumbprints with each DNA sample collected under this subchapter.(b) The thumbs must be rolled to capture the entire print.(c) TDCJ shall provide a legible signature of the person collecting the sample and, for identification purposes, should make reasonable efforts to collect a legible signature from the subject providing the sample.37 Tex.
