Section 112.244 - Testing Requirements(a) The owner or operator shall perform an initial demonstration of compliance test on the emission points specified in §112.242(a) - (c) of this title (relating to Control Requirements) for sulfur dioxide, while the associated sources are firing tail gas, except for flares, by the compliance date in § 112.248 of this title (relating to Compliance Schedules).(b) The owner or operator shall use the methods provided in § 112.245 of this title (relating to Approved Test Methods) for the initial demonstration of compliance test required under subsection (a) of this section.(c) During performance testing, the owner or operator shall operate the source at the maximum rated capacity, or as near thereto as practicable.(d) The owner or operator shall conduct additional performance testing at least every five years and when requested by the executive director using test methods allowed in § 112.245 of this title.(e) When analysis of produced carbon black, carbon black oil, and fuels, including but not limited to tail gas, is required for monitoring under § 112.243 of this title (relating to Monitoring Requirements), the owner or operator shall use a test method in § 112.245 of this title for the analysis.30 Tex.
