Section 60.202 - Investigation and Priority of Complaints(a) The department shall maintain a system to promptly and efficiently act on complaints filed with the department as provided by Texas Occupations Code § 51.252.(b) The department shall assign priorities and investigate complaints based on risk to the public of the conduct alleged in the complaint as provided by Texas Occupations Code § 51.2521.(c) If the department determines at any time that an allegation made or formal complaint submitted by a person is inappropriate or without merit, the department shall dismiss the complaint.16 Tex.
