Section 1660-01-34-.01 - CWD MANAGEMENT ZONES
(1) There is created CWD Management Zone 1 consisting of the following counties: Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton, Wayne and Weakley.
(2) If a cervid (any member of the family Cervidae) tests positive for CWD in a Tennessee county that is contiguous with a CWD Management Zone, then the county shall become part of the adjacent CWD Management Zone.
(3) If a cervid tests positive for CWD in a Tennessee county that is outside of and not contiguous with a CWD Management Zone, additional CWD Management Zone(s) may be created.
(4) The Agency shall maintain and publish on its website map(s) of CWD Management Zone(s).
