Section 1255-07-.01 - INACTIVE STATUS(1) A licensee or certificate holder shall submit an application obtained from the Commission office accompanied by a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) fee for a change of status to place his or her license or certificate in inactive status. A license or certificate holder in inactive status shall continue to pay the one hundred dollar ($100.00) biennial renewal fee. A licensee or certificate holder shall also submit an application to place his or her license or certificate back in active status.(2) An inactive license or certificate holder may not engage in any real estate appraisal activity or make any misrepresentation of his or her status. Any violation of this paragraph constitutes grounds for discipline pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-39-326.(3) In order for a licensee or certificate holder to reactivate his or her license or certificate from an inactive status to an active status, he or she shall pay a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) plus all applicable fees and shall also present proof of having completed a minimum of the seven (7) hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Course within the preceding two (2) years, in addition to the required cumulative continuing education for the entire lapsed period.Tenn.
