Section 1200-07-02-.01 - PURPOSE(1) The purpose of these regulations is to provide for the implementation of the Tennessee Cancer Reporting System Act of 1983 and its amendments requiring all hospitals, laboratories, facilities, and health care practitioners, as defined in the Act, to report certain cancer data to the Department of Health, as well as to provide for the confidentiality of certain data, and for the data to be made available to the public.Tenn.
