Section 0100-03-.19 - MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE PERMITS(1) A manufacturer representative permit issued pursuant to T.C.A. § 57-3-202(d) is only required for owners, officers, employees, or representatives soliciting orders from licensed wholesalers in Tennessee and shall not be required of owners, officers, employees, or representatives that are marketing and promoting the product to the general public or to situations described in T.C.A § 57-3-202(k)(3). In addition, a manufacturer representative permit is not required for individuals who work at a manufacturer's or importer's premises unless they also perform such other tasks that require such a permit.(2) A manufacturer representative permit issued pursuant to T.C.A § 57-3-202(d) shall be issued exclusively to the individual applying for such permit and shall not reference any manufacturer, rectifier, or importer.
