State matching fund grantees shall meet all auditing requirements related to their primary federal transit grants. State matching fund grantees shall transmit to the department a copy of all audits performed by an independent certified public accountant for that grantee for any time periods covered by state matching fund grants. State matching fund grantees shall permit auditors of the department to obtain and review all expenditure records related to state matching grants.
