Section 67:42:11:10 - Electrical outlet covers

Facilities caring for children aged four years and younger must cover unused electrical outlets with an Underwriters' Laboratories approved electrical outlet cover. Facilities that are for children aged four years and younger and which were constructed or approved after June 4, 1995, must have self-closing outlet covers that cover outlet holes automatically upon removal of appliance prongs.
