Section 61-107.279.G.62 - Notificationa. Used oil burners that have not previously notified EPA of their used oil burning activities must notify EPA to identify their used oil burning activities. Even if a burner has previously notified EPA of hazardous waste management activities under section 3010 of RCRA and obtained an identification number, the used oil burner must renotify EPA to identify used oil burning activities. In addition, the burner must obtain a permit from the Department.b. A used oil burner who has not received an EPA identification number may obtain one by notifying the Department of their used oil activity by submitting a completed SCDHEC Form 2701.S.C. Code Regs. § 61-107.279.G.62
