Section 103-470 - Utility Inspection and TestsA. Each gas utility shall make such tests as are prescribed under these rules with such frequency and in such manner and at such places as is herein provided, as requested by the ORS or as may be approved or ordered by the commission. Unless otherwise directed by the commission, the methods and apparatus recommended by the National Bureau of Standards in the latest edition of its Circular No. 48, "Standard Methods of Gas Testing" may be used.B. When the gas itself is to be tested pursuant to these rules, a "cubic foot" shall mean the quantity of gas necessary to fill a cubic foot of space when the gas is at an absolute pressure of 14.73 pounds per square inch and at a temperature of sixty degrees Fahrenheit. For purposes of measurement of gas to a customer a cubic foot of gas shall be taken to be the amount of gas which occupies a volume of one cubic foot under the conditions existing in such customer's meter as and where installed.S.C.
