Section 29.51 - Approval of equipment(a) No powder-actuated tool shall be operated or used within this Commonwealth unless it meets the following requirements: (1) The tool, including protective shield and all other accessories is of an approved type.(2) It shall be inspected as required by this subchapter.(3) Its storage, handling, and use shall meet all of the requirements and conform to the provisions of this Subchapter.(b) No person shall use or cause or permit such tool to be used within this Commonwealth except in strict compliance with this subchapter.(c) Tools of a special design not anticipated by this Subchapter shall be of an approved type.
