Section 83.71 - General requirements(a) The Commission may allocate to districts, State, Federal or other funds, as available, to reimburse districts for a portion of their costs to carry out special projects approved by the Commission. These projects shall be limited to a reasonable period of time for the accomplishment of project objectives but State funding will not be assured for longer than 1 State fiscal year. Eligible projects will be determined on individual merit by the Commission based on criteria established within the specific guidelines of the funding source.(b) The Commission may authorize special project grants to any district or cooperating organization for purposes consistent with this subchapter and the act.The provisions of this § 83.71 adopted February 24, 1984, effective 1/6/1984, 14 Pa.B. 657; amended June 23, 1995, effective 6/24/1995, 25 Pa.B. 2506; amended February 15, 2008, effective 2/16/2008, 38 Pa.B. 889.The provisions of this § 83.71 amended under the Conservation District Law (3 P.
