Section 402 - Suspension or Revocation of Certification and Roster StatusThe following shall constitute grounds for disciplinary action against interpreters registered with the ICP. Certified, otherwise qualified, or registered status may be suspended or revoked for any of the following reasons:
(a) violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct for Judiciary Interpreters;(b) conviction of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or false statements;(c) fraud, dishonesty, or corruption related to the functions and duties of a court interpreter;(d) knowing misrepresentation of court certification or roster status;(e) knowing and willful disclosure of confidential or privileged information obtained while serving in an official capacity as a court interpreter;(f) unprofessional or unethical conduct;(g) fraud or misrepresentation in obtaining or renewing certification status;(h) non-compliance with continuing education requirements;(i) non-payment of renewal fees; or(j) disciplinary action taken in conjunction with the interpreter's services in another jurisdiction.
