Section 851-006-0050 - Definitions beginning with the letter "E"
(1) "Education Program Outcomes", means statements of the expected knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and abilities to be gained by students through completion of the nursing education program or segment thereof.
(2)"English Language Proficiency" means the ability to use and comprehend spoken and written English at a level sufficient for safety within the scope of practice.
(3)"Examination" means the licensing examination endorsed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). which may be the State Board Test Pool Examination (SBTPE) or the NCLEX-RN® or -PN®. Also means the Board approved examination administered to determine minimum competency for certified nursing assistant and certified medication aide authorized duties.
(4)"Expired license or expired certificate" means that the license or certificate has lapsed and is void. The licensee or certificate holder has not renewed Oregon licensure or been granted retired or inactive status and is not authorized to practice nursing but may elect to return to active status by meeting Board requirements.
(5)"Extended campus site" means any location of an institution, other than the main campus, at which the institution offers at least 50 percent of a nursing education curriculum.
