Section 735-022-0000 - Evidence of Ownership to a Vehicle(1) DMV has established the following as evidence of ownership of a vehicle: (a) A manufacturer's certificate of origin (MCO) as defined in OAR 735-022-0030. (b) A vehicle title or bill of sale from the owner(s) of record. (c) A completed, signed Certification of Ownership Facts (DMV Form 550). (d) A transfer by operation of law including a judgment awarding ownership interest in a vehicle, an estate settlement document or inheritance affidavit (DMV Form 516), or a Vehicle Repossession Certificate (DMV Form 263). (e) For a reconstructed or assembled vehicle, a bill of sale to the frame or unibody, whichever is applicable. (2) DMV will not issue title for a manufactured trailer without a bill of sale for the axle or trailer frame. (3) Nothing in this rule limits DMV's discretion to request or consider other information to establish evidence of ownership of a vehicle. Or. Admin. Code § 735-022-0000
