I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, to honor former Oklahoma County District Attorney Robert H. Macy, who died on Friday, November 18, 2011, at the age of 81.

Macy was appointed by Governor George Nigh in 1980 to serve as Oklahoma County's top prosecutor; a position he held for 21 years. He was known as a friend to law enforcement, and once stated that his goal was to "make Oklahoma County the safest county in the country." Throughout his life, former District Attorney Macy made great contributions to the State of Oklahoma.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Director of Central Services who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 22nd day of November, 2011.
