Section 4101:3-12-01 - Special piping and storage systems

Chapter 12 of the International Plumbing Code, 2021 edition, as incorporated by reference and modified in Section 101.1.1 of this code, is further modified as follows:

(A)Replace section 1201.1 to read as follows:

1201.1Scope. The provisions of this chapter govern the design and installation of piping and storage systems for nonflammable medical gas systems. All maintenance and operations of such systems are to be in accordance with Chapter 34 of the building code and the applicable chapters of the International Fire Code.

(B)Modify section 1202.1 as follows:

Add "designed," before "installed".

(C)Replace Section 1203.1 with the following:

1203.1Design and installation. Deleted.
