Section 3769-2-29 - Fraudulent or improper practice
(A) Any license issued by the commission may, after a proceeding before the commission and in compliance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code, be revoked for corrupt, fraudulent, or improper practice on the part of the holder or for conduct detrimental to the best interest of racing.
(B) Any licensee who by any act intentionally attempts to or actually corruptly affects the outcome of a horse race will be fined one thousand dollars, suspended for one year by the stewards or judges, and be referred to the commission for any additional penalty. Upon finding a licensee has committed such an act, the commission may revoke any Ohio state racing commission license(s) held by the licensee for life and/or rule off such licensee from all Ohio race tracks for life.
(C) Any licensee who, even though not directly involved in the act, has knowledge of any act which corruptly affects or attempts to corruptly affect the outcome of a horse race and fails to report said knowledge to the stewards or judges will be fined one thousand dollars, suspended for one year by the stewards or judges, and be referred to the commission for any additional penalty. Upon finding a licensee has failed to properly report knowledge of such an act, the commission may revoke any Ohio state racing commission license(s) held by the licensee for life and/or rule off such licensee from all Ohio race tracks for life.
