Section 75-03-21.1-21 - Facility water supply1. Facilities must be located in areas where public or private water supplies approved by the department of environmental quality are available. Approved public water supplies must be used where available.2. When a private water supply is used, water samples must be submitted to a certified laboratory approved by the department of environmental quality at the earliest possible date prior to occupancy, and every six months thereafter to determine chemical and bacteriological acceptability.3. Drinking water must be obtained from an approved community water system or from a source tested by a certified laboratory and approved by the department of environmental quality. A copy of the test report must be submitted to the department. The water and wastewater plumbing systems must comply with article 62-03.1, plumbing installation standards.N.D.
