Section 75-02-01.2-56 - Computing payment for first and second months of eligibility

If an applicant household has not received assistance in the preceding calendar month:

1. Assistance for the household must be prorated based on the date of request or the date of eligibility, whichever is later; and

2. The county agency shall compute the amount of the cash grant for the household for the initial month of eligibility and the month following using prospective budgeting. The county agency shall otherwise compute the amount of assistance provided to the household using retrospective budgeting.
