Section 32S .0203 - MANDATORY NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO PRACTICE(a) Prior to the performance of any medical acts, tasks, or functions under the supervision of a primary supervising physician, a physician assistant shall submit notification of such intent using the Board's Intent to Practice form located on the Board's website. The notification of intent to practice shall include:(1) the name, practice addresses, and telephone number of the physician assistant; and(2) the name, practice addresses, and telephone number of the primary supervising physician(s).(b) The physician assistant shall not commence practice until he/she receives acknowledgment from the Board that the Board has received and processed the Intent to Practice Form. By checking the Board's website, the physician assistant can confirm that the primary supervising physician has been added to the physician assistant's personal information page on the Board's website.(c) The physician assistant shall notify the Board of any changes to the information required in Paragraph (a) of this Rule within 15 days of the occurrence.21 N.C.
